History:
PolyOrg was founded in 2003 by Saroj Roy, Ph.D.
Prior to founding PolyOrg, Saroj was a Senior Scientist at Applied Biosystems for 6 years , a Group Leader at Hybridon for 1 year, and a Senior Scientist at Millipore/Perseptive Biosystems for 4 years.
From his 30+ years of process chemistry experience, Saroj has a track record of:
- Synthesizing novel organic and bio-organic compounds such as proteomics reagents, modified DNA/RNA intermediates, heterocyclic compounds, non-radioactive marker molecules and solid support chemistry.
-Managing teams and projects successfully and transferring processes to manufacturing.
-Reducing costs of production of these molecules through synthesis design and process development.
-Expertise in analytical instrumentation such as normal and reverse phase HPLC, multinuclear NMR, FT-IR and MS.
